All notable awards and honors handed out to those in the Raiders organization for the 2016 season.

Tonight is the NFL Honors show. It’s the big year-end gala that will bestow a few NFL players and coaches with awards for their performance in the 2016 season.

This is the big show, and several Raiders are nominated for awards tonight. But leading up to this awards show, there have already been several awards given out to members of the Raiders for their performance in the team’s resurgent 12-4 season.

Named as Edge rusher on 2017 Pro Bowl roster

2-time AFC Defensive Player of the Week in Week 9 vs Broncos and week 12 vs Panthers.

AFC Defensive Player of the Month for November with 4.0 sacks, 2 game ending forced fumble and recoveries, an interception for a touchdown, and 13 tackles (10 solo).

Castrol Edge Clutch Performer of the Week in Week 13 vs. Buffalo with a game-ending strip sack on Tyrod Taylor.

Castrol Edge Clutch Player of the Year

Raiders Commitment to Excellence Award, given to the Raider who best exemplifies hard work, leadership, and excellence on and off the field throughout the season. The award is voted on by the players.

Raiders’ nominee for the Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award, presented each year to an NFL player who best demonstrates the qualities of on-field sportsmanship, including fair play, respect for the game and opponents, and integrity in competition.

Named as Quarterback on 2017 Pro Bowl roster

4-time Castrol Edge Clutch Performer of the Week for late game-winning drives in week 1 vs Saints, week 4 vs Ravens, week 8 vs Buccaneers, and week 12 vs Panthers.

AFC Offensive Player of the Week and FedEx Air Player of the Week in Week 8 win in Tampa. Carr completing 40-of-59 passes for a franchise-record 513 yards with four TDs and a 117.4 passer rating.

AFC Special Teams Player of the Week in a week 7 win in Jacksonville. He averaged 54.6 yards per punt and over 50 yards net on five punts with four punts placed inside the 20-yard line. He added a 27-yard run on fourth and 24 off a botched snap.

Dan Williams

Raiders nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, representing the best of the NFL’s commitment to philanthropy and community impact.

Bruce Irvin

AFC Defensive Player of the Week in week 15 against the Chargers with 2 sacks, a forced fumble, and six tackles (four solo).

Sebastian Janikowski

Castrol Edge Clutch Performer of the Week in Week 15 performance at San Diego, connecting on 4-of-4 field goals, including the game-winning 44-yarder with 2:40 remaining.

Latavius Murray

FedEx Ground Player of the Week in Week 9 win vs Broncos with 114 yards and 3 touchdowns.

FedEx Ground Player of the Week for Week 13 win over the Buffalo Bills rushing for 82 yards and two touchdowns.
