And the moment many of you have been waiting for: Raiders will be hosting former Bills linebacker Zach Brown for a visit, according to Ian Rapoport.
The #Raiders are getting a visit from #Bills FA LB Zach Brown, source said. Would be an upgrade over what they had last year.

Up to this point all the news out of Oakland was on the offensive side of the ball. The team has signed tackle Marshall Newhouse and wide receiver/kick returner Cordarrelle Patterson.
They have also scheduled a visit with tight end Jared Cook. Prior to that there had been reported interest in tight end Martellus Bennett and running back Adrian Peterson. The only defender with even reported interest from the Raiders is former Chiefs DT Dontari Poe.
This seemed rather strange considering the Raiders had one of the best offenses in the NFL last season, while their defense was in much need of help.
Brown would be a big get for the Raiders. He is widely considered the second best middle linebacker on the free agent market behind Dont’a Hightower.
Brown is still on the market most likely because his people have been waiting for Hightower to figure out where he is going. But with Hightower dragging his feet, and free agency now a week in, it’s time to get things going.
We’ll see if the Raiders make him an offer that keeps him from leaving without a contract.
