As free agency reaches into the leavings portion, the Raiders are having their second linebacker for a visit according to Adam Caplan. They will be hosting former Dolphins linebacker Jelani Jenkins.
Free agent LB Jelani Jenkins is expected to visit the #Raiders this week, sources said. Team still in search of help at WLB, MLB.

Jenkins is coming off a down season marred by injuries. He missed 7 games this season with knee, groin, and a hand injuries.
Prior to that, he had started 27 of 28 games the previous two seasons in Miami including starting 14 games in 2014 and putting up 110 combined tackles (83 solo) and 3.5 sacks.
Jenkins is a former 4th round pick out of Florida by the Dolphins.
The Raiders let Malcolm Smith go as a free agent and presumably Jenkins could be seen as being able to fill a similar role which would be weakside linebacker in 4-3 sets, moving to inside linebacker in 3-4 sets. But that remains to be seen. At this point in free agency, it’s best not to expect much.
