Every year we hear of players who either grew up Raiders fans or admiring the Raiders organization and its history. The latest is USC wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster who posted a pic to his Twitter feed in which he was playing himself in Madden ‘17 as a Raider, with the message “Me, Amari, and Crabtree”

Smith-Shuster opted to forego his senior season at USC and declare for the NFL draft after three seasons with the Trojans catching 213 passes for 3092 yards and 25 touchdowns. He is currently projected to be a day two selection.
The Long Beach native would like very much to play close to home. He attended Long Beach Poly where Snoop Dogg dubbed the 6-2, 220-pounder “Sportscenter” before heading to USC. While where he gets drafted is out of his control, his mother is hoping it’s a team that’s not too far away.
“I was so excited to hear about the Chargers,” she told the LA Daily News last January. “Let’s get them all in L.A. Bring the Raiders down, too. At least Vegas isn’t too far away.”
His mother’s hopes for a relocation aside, Oakland is not far away either. And clearly her son would like to team up with Coop, Crab and Carr in donning the Silver & Black regardless of their location.
