Another Raiders free agent has found a home elsewhere. Nearing two weeks into free agency, former Raiders sixth round pick Mychal Rivera has signed a 2-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars. This according to multiple reports.
The deal is for 2 years according to NFL media’s Mike Garafolo, with the second year on a team option.
On the Jaguars' deal with TE Mychal Rivera that @JeffDarlington reported, year 2 is a team option. So a one and one for the former Raider.

The 6-3, 242-pound tight end appeared in 61 games over four seasons in Oakland, starting 15. While he had his moments as a receiver, his blocking was suspect, which had the team looking for a better option each year.
After shaking out as the team’s top option at tight end his first two seasons, his number fell each of the past two seasons after the team drafted Clive Walford and signed free agent Lee Smith. Rivera even found himself on the inactive list for three games last season.
The Raiders were never expected to bring Rivera back and have since added free agent Jared Cook to replace him on the roster.
