Since yesterday, when the vote was made official, there has been a lot of infighting here. I took some time to reflect on what makes the Raiders so important to me.

The two things that stand out the most are diversity and individuality. These qualities helped make our team great, but also separated our fan base from all the others. I wear many hats in life. I am a father, a husband, a son, a brother, a coach, a teacher.

To make any relationship work, be it personal or professional, teamwork is essential. It's not easy to put yourself in someone else's shoes. I can only hope that during a difficult time what brings us together is more important than what is tearing us apart. We are all brothers and sisters of the ORIGINAL nation. Have some patience with each other, we all process things differently. I challenge you all to do what I did and contemplate what really makes the Raiders important to you.
