Adrian Peterson wants to go to a contender. These days that includes the Raiders. His interest in coming to Oakland has been widely reported since the Vikings opted not to pick up his 2017 option, sending him to free agency.
Initially his interests were said to include, along with the Raiders, the Giants, Buccaneers, and Texans. Today, the Seahawks and Patriots were added to that list.
Where he lands doesn’t just depend on where he wants to go. The teams he favors must also be interested in adding him. As of today, it sounds as if Peterson’s choices indeed have narrowed to the Seahawks and Raiders, according to Peterson’s father, who says they are the only teams are “for sure” interested in his services as reported by Chris Tomasson of the St Paul Pioneer Press.

Peterson will turn 32 later this month. The 7-time Pro Bowler is entering his 11th NFL season. He would replace Latavius Murray in Oakland who is headed for free agency.
