Despite considerable injuries over his first four seasons in the NFL, Raiders former second round pick, Menelik Watson has generated a bit of a market for his services. The right tackle has received interest from the Broncos in signing him, while the Raiders are hoping to sign him back, according to Mike Klis of Denver 9 News.

Due to his inability to stay healthy, it would seem a one-year deal would be in Watson’s future. That could be good for Watson as well as the teams looking to sign him. Should he be able to stay healthy for the first time in his career, he could revisit the free agent market next offseason.
It was always a possibility the Raiders could give Watson another shot. They like his potential, and he has won the starting job three times the past two seasons. The first two times, he was lost to injury, leaving the job to Austin Howard. But when Watson was healthy late last season, he got his right tackle job back.
When asked to step in for Donald Penn at left tackle in the team’s wild card playoff game, he didn’t fare as well. Though switching positions and going against Jadeveon Clowney is a tough task.
