With the release of the 2017 regular season schedule, the Raiders also revealed the specific date of their preseason opener. The Raiders will open the preseason in Arizona on August 12 at 7:00pm.
Training camp starts no more than 15 days prior to the team’s first preseason game which means veteran report day on July 28 with the first day of camp on July 29. The third day of camp is when the players are allowed to practice in pads. That will be July 31.
Some players will report earlier than that for the team’s 3-day pre-camp warm-up. That will include all rookies and first year players along with the quarterbacks and some select players.
Training camp is held at the Napa Valley Marriott.

But before we get to all that, the Raiders still have a whole offseason of workouts and minicamp at their Alameda facility. See the full offseason schedule here.
