With their THIRD 7th round pick, the Raiders get a running back, going with Elijah Hood out of North Carolina.
At 5-11, 232, Hood is a bruiser. He ran for 1463 yards and 17 touchdowns as a sophomore averaging 6.7 yards per carry. He dropped to 858 yards and 8 touchdowns last year but still averaged 5.9 yards per carry. He did see his receiving numbers go up as a junior with 25 catches for 142 yards.
He will team up with Marshawn Lynch, Jalen Richard, DeAndre Washington, and Jamize Olawale in the Raiders’ offensive backfield.
