We have a winner!: Corrected results of S&BP community draft prediction contest

New, comments

This time last week, the first round of the draft was just hours away. Silver & Black Pride readers had submitted their predictions as to which players the Raiders would select in which rounds. Well, the results are in.

Initially there was a bit of a glitch in the results of the submissions which led to the appearance that no one had gotten more than one correct prediction. That glitch was fixed and we now have a winner of the S&BP T-shirt as well as a runner-up.

There were some who may have had correct picks who are not here. That’s because they had multiple submissions and in that instance we can only accept the most recent submission.

Winner: Piotr Kubalewski (Kubala)

Marquel Lee, Round 5

Shalom Luani, Round 7

Runner-up: Richard Pucciarelli

Obi Melifonwu, Round 2

Elijah Hood, Round 7

Both Poitr and Richard got two correct, but the correct pick in a later round of Lee tips to scale to Piotr to take the prize. But well done by both of them.

Others who got one correct pick in the correct round:

Ian Fisher (uk_raider) — Jylan Ware, Round 7 (also Melifonwu but in Round 1)

Chris Barker — Treyvon Hester, Round 7

Ron Tidwell — David Sharpe, Round 4

Matt Giannetta — Elijah Hood, Round 7

Rory Swan — Obi Melifonwu, Round 2

Adam Harper — Eddie Vanderdoes, Round 3

Michael Schoeder — Gareon Conley, Round 1

Greg Johnson -- Shalom Luani, Round 7

Vincent Jackson — Treyvon Hester, Round 7

James Shockley III — Elijah Hood, Round 7

Ken Boyce — David Sharpe, Round 4

Jason Roeser — Treyvon Hester, Round 7

Derek Slade — Obi Melifonwu, Round 2

Michael Caballero -- Eddie Vanderdoes, Round 3

Miguel Hernandez — Shalom Luani, Round 7

Nice work, all. You got more correct picks than I did in my 7-round mock (though I did nail Gareon Conley and Obi Melifonwu in my Raider Draft Radar series. Does that count?)
