New, comments

We are currently in the heart of the Raiders offseason program with two weeks of OTA’s in the books and one OTA and minicamp remaining. So, let’s take a look at what the current depth chart looks like.

Keep in mind, some of this is a projection based on various factors including injuries keeping players out of OTA practices.

C Rodney Hudson Jon Feliciano Oni Omoile
RG Gabe Jackson Chauncey Briggs Jordan Simmons
RT Austin Howard Marshall Newhouse David Sharpe Vadal Alexander

Marshawn Lynch has not been fully participating in OTA’s. He has watched without a helmet as Jalen Richard has taken first team snaps. Mainly that has a lot to do with his having taken a year off from football and the team doesn’t want to rush him back and risk injury.

Primary slot duties still belong mostly to Seth Roberts. Though others have lined up inside on occasion including Cordarrelle Patterson, KJ Brent, and Jaydon Mickens.

Austin Howard lined up with the first team during offseason workouts but he has not participated in OTA’s as he recovers from offseason shoulder surgery. Marshall Newhouse has been the first team right tackle for these practices and that figures to continue through minicamp. Jon Feliciano was also not practicing last week, though he was the second team center last season, so figure that would continue had he been there.
