Derek Carr may be able to attend because the Raiders will have played their final preseason game two days prior and the regular season is still 8 days away. The Raiders’ practice that day is still TBA.
Over four seasons, three as the starter, Carr completed 66.7% of his passes with school records for yards (12843), completions (1086) and touchdowns (113).
In total, he set 27 school records and 21 Mountain West records. He was twice named Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year.
As a senior he became the fourth player in FBS history to throw for over 5000 yards (5082) and 50 touchdowns in a season and won the Sammy Baugh Award for the nation’s top passer.
