Seeing his first action of training camp today is reserve center Jon Feliciano. The third year offensive lineman had spent the first ten days of camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list.
Feliciano had been out minicamp with a knee injury he suffered in OTA’s, making it two months that he had been unable to practice.
The Raiders will ease him back into things. He was suited up today with the team in helmets and shells, which made his return off of PUP official, but he has spent much of the day watching. I wouldn’t expect him to be able to go on Saturday when the team heads to Arizona to open the preseason. Oni Omoile has been working as the reserve center in his absence.
Still on the PUP list are rookie top pick cornerback Gareon Conley and defensive lineman Jihad Ward. While Ben Heeney and Cooper Helfet remain on the Non-Football Injury list. The difference between the lists are simply whether their injury occurred in football activities at the facility or not.
