This Raiders fan is a walking wardrobe malfunction

New, comments

Is this real life?

There I was. Just minding my own business, walking out of the Marriott in Napa after my day was done covering Raiders training camp. Then I see this. A guy sitting in the bar area in the lobby of the hotel wearing a white number 12 Darrius Heyward-Bey jersey.

I have so many questions.

How is this possible?

How is it he owned it in the first place?

Why does he still own it?

Why does he still WEAR it?

The Raiders 2009 7th overall pick wore the number 12 for one season, switching to 85 for his final three seasons in Oakland. Probably at the request of more notable number 12s like Rich Gannon, Ken Stabler, and Todd Marinovich.

DHB was a widely panned pick with some of the most football repellant hands you ever did see. With his incredible speed, he could catch up to any pass, but actually catching it was another story. A tragic story. Or a dark comedy depending on your viewpoint.

Maybe it was a gift. Maybe he bought it on clearance. Please, if anyone knows this young man, help him out. Start a GoFundMe campaign. Anything.
