NFL: Oakland Raiders at Tennessee Titans Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Greetings, Raider Nation! Raiderdamus the Great and Powerful is here to welcome you all to Week 1 of the 2017 NFL regular season, in which Oakland makes it seemingly annual trip to the Music City to take on the Team That Everyone Forgot, the Tennessee Titans.

So after a disappointing end to the 2016 season and a long, arduous off-season, it’s come down to this. This game marks the beginning of the Raiders’ journey to the Super Bowl, and one of the final seasons they will likely ever spend in the Bay Area. Whatever happens here today, win or lose, we are family and we always will be.

Things are never easy for Raider Nation, but what sets us apart from other fanbases is the insanity we share as a collective, and our fanatical devotion to the Silver and Black regardless of the success on the field, because being an Oakland Raider means more than winning or losing, it means you’re part of something bigger than yourself.

Enjoy the game!
