There’s a very good chance not only could we see Raiders rookie top pick cornerback Gareon Conley play this week against the Jets, but that we could see a lot of him.
Today Conley practiced full for the first time since OTA’s. He has been out with a shin injury that had him out all of camp, preseason and the first game of the season last week in Tennessee.
While Conley was upgraded to a full participant, starting cornerback Sean Smith did not practice at all with a neck injury.
Now, what may have otherwise been Conley seeing limited time in the defense may lead to more extensive work should Smith be unable to go this week.
We will know more once the final injury report comes out Friday. For now, here is Thursday’s injury report.

Several Raiders players were upgraded to full participation. Jamize Olawale and Keith McGill both missed the season opener and are seeing their first full practices of the season.
Meanwhile, Jets offensive lineman Jonothan Harrison was added to the injury report with a concussion and linebacker Edmond Robinson was downgraded from limited to not practicing. Morris Claiborne was upgraded from limited to full.
