For the first time since June, Raiders top pick Gareon Conley was full go in practice Thursday. Jack Del Rio said on Friday in a Q&A with fans “I think we’ll have him up this week. Stay tuned.” That’s as definitive an answer as you’ll get from Del Rio who doesn’t discuss injuries much as a general rule.

When Conley first returned from his shin injury to practice two weeks before the start of the season, it looked like he might be on track to see action in the season opener in Tennessee. He felt like he was ready to go, but he team held him out.
“He’s been chomping at the bit, so to speak,” Del Rio said Wednesday. “Last week he was a little disappointed that we weren’t going to play him, but I assured him that I thought it was imperative for us to do the right thing by him, and that when I felt he was ready, we’ll play him. Until then, I want him to just do what he can, practice as hard as he can and prepare accordingly. We’ll make the call when we think he’s right.”
With him practicing full, that time is now.
Update: Conley has come off the injury report and Del Rio confirmed after practice Friday that Conley will indeed see action in the game.
