Both the Raiders and Broncos were without top corners in practice Wednesday. The Raiders were without rookie top pick Gareon Conley who has been battling a shin injury that kept him out all of camp. The Broncos were without Bradley Roby with an ankle injury.
The Raiders have looked to Conley as their nickel corner the past couple weeks. He gave up a few catches against Washington last week, but shut down the Jets the previous week.
Roby has been a key piece in the Broncos’ league best secondary the past few seasons. He too is the nickel corner and starts a good amount of games as well.
Michael Crabtree left Sunday’s game with a chest injury. X-Rays were negative. He practices today on a limited basis along with Amari Cooper (knee), Keith McGill (foot), and Jalen Richard (calf).
Limited for the Broncos were cornerback Brendan Langley (knee) and wide receiver Cody Latimer (knee).
