Raiders vs Titans first injury report: Khalil Mack misses practice, as does Jamize Olawale

New, comments

The Raiders’ first injury report of 2017 is out. Here it is in all it’s glory.

The notable names of those not practicing are Khalil Mack and Jamize Olawale. Also missing practice were Keith McGill and Lee Smith. McGill is still recovering from a broken foot and isn’t expected to be ready. Smith’s isn’t injury related.

I have my doubts Mack will miss the season opener. There were no indications prior to this that he had any serious injury.

Olawale’s status is much more uncertain. He was injured in the team’s third preseason game, pulling up after a long run with no contact. He is the team’s only fullback so his presence would be missed in the offense.

Gareon Conley is still limited as this is just his second practice since returning from a shin injury. I wouldn’t expect to see him much if at all Sunday.

Sebastian Janikowski was limited with back issues and the team is playing it by ear as to his status for the game. They must make a decision by Saturday.

The Titans appear to be pretty healthy. Only cornerback LeShaun Sims missed practice while tackle Taylor Lewan was limited with an ankle issue.
