Denver is not the odds on favorite for Kirk Cousins landing spot

As soon as Alex Smith was traded to Washington, the speculation began to fly about where Kirk Cousins would end up. And, I suppose because the Raiders play in the AFC West, most speculation I saw was that Cousins was already donning a Denver Broncos uniform. The oddsmakers have things differently.

Neither Bovada nor BDSI have Denver as the favorite to land Cousins. Here’s how the odds stack up for different teams in the NFL to sign the hot commodity.

Broncos: 7/4

If you put these together, the odds seem to favor Cousins landing with the Jets. After that it looks to be between the Broncos and Browns. Any way you look at it, it’s not a foregone conclusion the AFC West will be trading Alex Smith for Kirk Cousins.
