Already without top pass rusher Joey Bosa, the Chargers will also be without wide receiver Travis Benjamin. Benjamin was in a cast today at Chargers practice and is expected to miss the next 2-3 weeks according to Ian Rapoport.
#Chargers WR Travis Benjamin, sporting a cast on his foot at practice, is expected to be out 2-3 weeks, source said. He’s battled a foot injury much of the season. The hope is he’s back by the #Titans game or perhaps after the Week 8 bye.— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) October 4, 2018
The Raiders had some bad news as well as left guard Kelechi Osemele missed a second straight practice with a knee injury. If he can’t go, Jon Feliciano would be expected to step in.
Fellow interior linemen Rodney Hudson and Gabe Jackson were both limited for the second straight day. The Raiders will need them all in the lineup Sunday especially because they’ll be starting rookies at both tackle spots.
Speaking of tackles, the Chargers got both of their tackles Russell Okung and Joe Barksdale back at practice today.
Returning to practice for the Raiders was Marshawn Lynch who missed Wednesday’s practice with a shoulder injury. Bruce Irvin was added to the injury report with a knee injury.
