Need a reason to watch the Raiders vs 49ers Battle of Bay-sement Bosa Bowl tonight? Look no further than the tight end position which features two of the NFL top three in the league according to Pro Football Focus grading.

As for actual numbers, 49ers tight end George Kittle and Raiders tight end Jared Cook sit at three and four. Kittle is averaging 73.0 yards per game with two touchdowns and Cook is averaging 67.7 with three touchdowns.

Their totals thus far in the season put each tight end well over 1000 yards. Kittle’s 584 in 8 games puts him at 1168 yards at season’s end and Cook’s 474 yards in 7 games puts him at 1083 yards over 16 games.

In both cases, the tight end leads the team in receiving by a fairly wide margin. The next most on the Raiders is Jordy Nelson with 337 yards. The next most on the 49ers is Marquise Goodwin with 259 yards.

So, all eyes on the tight ends tonight!

(Wait, that came out wrong.)
