Raiders get their biggest win of the season Monday Night, control their own destiny for number one overall draft pick

You may think the Raiders’ biggest win of the 2018 season was their only win against the Browns in week four. But you’d be wrong. That win came Monday night when the New York Giants took out the San Francisco 49ers 27-23 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. The same place the Raiders lost 34-3 a week and a half ago on Thursday Night Football. Proving the Raiders absolutely deserve to be called the worst team in football.

With the Giants win, the Raiders move into sole possession of the number one overall pick in the 2019 draft as the league’s only one-win team.

The Raiders now control their own destiny for that top pick. Should they lose the remainder of their games — which they very well could — they would have the top pick for the first time since 2007 when they selected JaMarcus Russell with that pick.

This time, they presumably won’t be looking quarterback. At this point #BombForBosa (Nick Bosa that is) is very much in effect.
