Raiders-Ravens injury report: Jordy Nelson returns to practice

New, comments
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Some good news for the Raiders and their beleaguered receiving corps. Jordy Nelson, who missed last week’s game in Arizona with a knee injury, has returned to practice. He was limited on Wednesday, so his status against the Ravens is still “up in the air” as Jon Gruden put it, but his return is obviously a good sign.

Fellow receiver Martavis Bryant was not back. He wasn’t expected to return this quickly after suffering a PCL injury two weeks ago in the same game Nelson was injured. Also not practicing for the Raiders was cornerback Leon Hall.

As has often been the case this season, three of the Raiders offensive linemen are banged up. Kolton Miller (knee), Kelechi Osemele (knee), and Rodney Hudson (ankle). All three were limited.

Doug Martin, who sat out the second half of last week’s game with an ankle injury, practiced full and is expected to play this week.
