Sunday Reuben Foster was arrested on suspicion of Domestic Violence. That was game day, folks. The 49ers were in Tampa about to play the Buccaneers and Foster was being hauled out of the team hotel, presumably in cuffs. And it’s not the first time for the former first round pick. It’s his third such arrest this year alone and he was suspended to start this season for it.
The 49ers acted quickly and by Monday he was waived. Tuesday it has been revealed he was claimed off waivers, though the destination team was initially kept under wraps.

Now awaiting destination.
This made for a nail biting half hour while fans wondered if Gruden would actually make such a move. Well, Gruden did. But it was the other Gruden — Jay Gruden, Jon’s brother.

The Raiders have a history of a former Alabama middle linebacker flaming out due to off the field issues. They selected Rolando McClain with their top pick at 8 overall in 2010. You’d think they’d stay well away, but Jon Gruden makes his own decisions, regardless of public scrutiny. The Raiders will not go from Death Ro to Death Reu.
