Once again, the Raiders go into a game as underdogs. Just as they have been the past five weeks and all but two games this season. They head to Cincinnati to face the Bengals who are 3-point favorites according to Bovada courtesy of Odds Shark.

The thing is about being underdogs is the Raiders have won two of their last four games and were underdogs in both of those wins (Steelers, Cardinals). And their game against the Chiefs, they lost by 7, which meant the Chiefs didn’t cover the 14-point spread.
Meanwhile the Bengals have lost five-straight games and are starting a backup at quarterback.
The point is, the Raiders are on the upswing. The Bengals are not. Even with the Bengals sporting a 5-8 record compared to the Raiders 3-10 record, you’d have to figure the Raiders are a pretty good bet.
Working in the Bengals favor is it’s a home game and the Raiders are traveling to the Eastern Time Zone. Oh, and the Raiders now figuring to be without their two starting guards might be a problem for them as well.
