Only in spurts this season have the Raiders been able to get out of their own way. They had a spurt against the Steelers, thanks in part to Josh Dobbs playing quarterback nearly have the game. They stumbled again in Cincinnati last week. NFL oddsmakers aren’t about to suggest they will bounce back against the Broncos on Monday night. They have the Raiders as 3-point underdogs according to Odds Shark.

In what is being touted as possibly the last game in Oakland Coliseum, the best shot the Raiders have is to play inspired football for the Oakland crowd to leave a lasting good impression.
It’s not like the Broncos are playing great football either. A few weeks ago they were riding high with stunning wins over the Chargers, Steelers, and Bengals. They’ve lost two straight since to the 49ers and Browns.
The Bengals had lost five straight when the Raiders came to town. And it was just what they needed to break the losing streak. They did so while getting five sacks on Derek Carr, two surrendered by left tackle Kolton Miller.
Pass protection will again be the primary issue versus the Broncos with Von Miller and Bradley Chubb going against the Raiders rookie tackles of Miller and Brandon Parker.
