There was no change in the Friday injury report for the Raiders, which means Maurice Hurst and Daryl Worley were once again not practicing. raising the likelihood that the Raiders will be without the two key defensive starters.
Hurst has been dealing with a nagging ankle injury of late and it has had him miss the game against the Steelers two weeks ago. He played last week, but clearly aggravated the injury keeping him out of this week’s practices. If he is unable to go, fellow rookie PJ Hall will get his snaps.
Worley has also been dealing with a lingering injury. His shoulder has had him limited in practice since midseason. But this is the first time he’s missed practices because of it, putting him in danger of missing his first game since returning from his 4-game suspension to start the season. Should he be unable to go, Rashaan Melvin would start in his place.
The Raiders could miss Worley, especially with Gareon Conley in the concussion protocol.
