2018 NFL Week 16 late game open thread: Ravens vs. Chargers

Greetings, Raider Nation! I hope you’ve all had a lovely Saturday full of food, family and football. There’s one more game tonight, and it’s a pivotal AFC battle which could decide a lot about the AFC Playoff race. The Ravens head to Los Angeles to take on the Chargers in what could be the best game of the weekend.

Technically, these are the two Wild Card teams at the moment, but Baltimore will be fighting for its life with the Titans having won against Washington today. The Ravens absolutely have to keep winning or they will be in danger of missing the playoffs altogether. They are 8-6 and face the Browns next week, in a game that looks much tougher than one might have expected a few weeks ago.

The Chargers are in the driver’s seat for a Wild Card spot if they don’t win the division outright, which they could if the Chiefs lose to Seattle tomorrow. The Chargers are the hottest team in football right now and look to get an important home win over another quality opponent.
