Arrowhead has been a house of horrors for the Raiders for several years. They haven’t won there since 2012; a streak of five straight losses. In those games the Raiders have never scored out of the teens and have allowed at least 21 points for an average score of 25-13. That’s an average point differential of 12 points. But the oddsmakers have put the spread at 14 points according to OddsShark.

Earlier this season in Oakland, the Raiders finished within one score despite three lost fumbles. But as we’ve seen in recent years, there is a big difference in how the Raiders play the Chiefs at home to how they play them in Kansas City. Derek Carr has actually beaten them twice in his career in Oakland, but has had some of his worst games in KC.

One thing you can say about the Raiders is despite having just four wins, they are 3-3 in their last six, so they’re looking much more competitive of late than they did over the first nine games. They just need it to show up in a place it hasn’t in quite some time.
