2018 NFL Week 17 predictions, picks against the spread

Greetings, Raider Nation! The time has come for the very last week of picking against the spreads, which have been provided to us this season by Bovada. This week, the spreads are all kinds of wacky because the good teams might be resting their starters. Betting on Week 17 is a fool’s errand, but we’re doing it anyway. Here are the spreads for this week:

Cowboys at Giants -7
Lions at Packers -7.5
Jets at Patriots -13.5
Falcons at Buccaneers -1
Jaguars at Texans -7
Dolphins at Bills -3.5
Cardinals at Seahawks pick ‘em
Chargers -6.5 at Broncos
Bears at Vikings -5
Panthers at Saints pick ‘em

Our own Ryan Lipton has taken a firm hold on the leader’s spot this season, and he also put up the best record in Week 16 by going 12-3-1 against the spread. As a result, he is five games ahead of second place, occupied by BD Williams. Tyler Green had the worst set of predictions at 4-11-1, losing hold on the second place spot he’d clawed into. The picks are very diverse this week, and the only unanimous pick is Houston over the Jaguars.
