Greetings, Raider Nation! After a whirlwind day in the NFL which gave us most of our playoff seeds, there is one game left to determine the final spot in the AFC Playoff bracket. The Colts and Titans square off tonight to see who will be the sixth seed in the playoffs and take on the Houston Texans next week.
Barring a tie in this game, the Steelers will miss the playoffs this year because the Ravens held on for a victory against the hard-charging Browns. Andrew Luck will try to lead his team to a win over the Titans, and the Colts are one of the hottest teams in football right now behind a fully healthy Luck.
The Titans, on the other hand, will be missing their starting QB Marcus Mariota who is still suffering the effects of a stinger sustained last week. It’s been reported that this injury could hamper his long-term ability to throw the football, so best wishes to St. Marcus. Whether the Titans make the playoffs this year is secondary to the long-term viability of Mariota as their franchise quarterback.
In any case, let’s just hope someone wins this game, so that the Steelers aren’t heard from again until 2019. This game can be seen on NBC and streamed on NBCSports at 5:20 Pacific Time. Enjoy the game!
