Thursday Night Football open thread: Jaguars vs. Titans

Greetings, Raider Nation! Week 14 of the NFL season gets under way tonight, and we have our annual meeting between the Jaguars and Titans on Thursday Night Football. It seems like these two play every year on Thursday night, and the Thursday Night games have been so bad this year it feels like all of them were Jaguars vs. Titans.

Both teams have had somewhat disappointing seasons thus far, with the Jaguars going 4-8 a season after they reached the AFC Championship Game. That’s a pretty steep dropoff. Blake Bortles has regressed and the defense isn’t close to what it was last season.

The Titans are an even 6-6, with a big win over the Patriots showing that they can lose to bad teams and beat good teams whenever they want. The Titans are consistently inconsistent, and they can look like trash or gold on any given week. Who knows what we’ll see out of them tonight?
