With still three games and nearly three quarters left in the season, Raiders tight end Jared Cook has set a new single season career high. Midway through the second quarter against the Steelers, Cook caught his third pass of the game and surpass his previous single season career-high of 759 yards which set in 2011.
He would have a fourth catch a few plays later, putting his season total at 782 yards and counting.
Cook already had a new career high with 6 receiving touchdowns this season, surpassing his previous career high of five which he set in 2013.
With still three games to go this season, the 31-year-old Cook could go from have a career-year to a 1000-yard season. He is the only Raiders player currently in the top ten at his position in Pro Bowl voting. It would also be his first Pro Bowl if he were to make it.
