Hey, remember Benson Mayowa? Of course you do. The Raiders claimed the former undrafted free agent off waivers from the Seahawks prior to the start of the 2014 season and he spent two seasons in Oakland before being signed away by the Cowboys as a Restricted Free Agent.
Well, now Mayowa will be an unrestricted free agent and the Raiders are said to be among those teams showing interest in him, according to Rob Rang of NFL Draft Scout.
Free agent edge rusher Benson Mayowa drawing lots of interest with the #Jets, #Redskins, #Seahawks already scheduling visits and #Colts, #Raiders among others teams poking around, according to source.

The Seahawks are also showing interest in bringing Mayowa back along with the Jets, Colts, and Washington.
The 26-year-old defensive end appeared in 28 games in two seasons in Oakland, starting 3 games. In two seasons in Dallas, he appeared in 27 games with 8 starts, putting up a career high 6.0 sacks in his first season there which led the team.
Adding a guy with 11 career starts and 9.0 career sacks in five seasons isn’t splashy, but there won’t be a lot of splashy additions to the Raiders this offseason, so get used to these less interesting reports as they look to fill out a roster with depth and competition.
