Something just sounds so weird and wrong about this. For 18 years Sebastian Janikowski has been synonymous with one team and one team only -- the Oakland Raiders. Now 40 years old and hitting free agency, he is making a visit to... the Chargers. This according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Former Raiders' K Sebastian Janikowski is expected to visit the Los Angeles Chargers, per source. Janikowski could go from Oakland to LA.

I recognize that look on your face. Like you just smelled something bad. And I get it. The the phrase “Los Angeles Chargers kicker Sebastian Janikowski” is... unpleasant. It just sounds awful. Kinda like “Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Tim Brown”. My fingers didn’t want to type it.
But, hey, Janikowski wants to keep playing. And with as truly bad as the kicking game has been in San Diego/Los Angeles the past few years, you can see why they would be kicking the tires on Seabass to see if he can provide some stability.
Free agency will officially begin at 1pm today, so if they think he’s still got some pop left in that Polish cannon, that’s when they could strike a deal with him.
