At the stroke of the start of free agency, one of the Raiders’ top free agents has signed elsewhere. Defensive lineman, Denico Autry has signed a 3-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts according to a source.

The National Football Post’s Aaron Wilson had the contract details first:

Autry was an undrafted free agent with the Raiders in 2014. He had 100 tackles over four seasons with the team and leaves receiving an average of $5.9 million per season over three years with $6.5 million guaranteed.

The 6-5, 270 pounder was a reserve interior defensive end/tackle for the Raiders. He stepped up several times with the multitude of injuries to Mario Edwards Jr and the inability for the team to find other players to fill that role, despite spending three straight day two picks on the position the past three years.

He is perhaps most well known for his ability to block passes and field goals at the line. He led the NFL in that category (7) last season.
