This is why we can’t have nice things. With multiple reports out there that Jordy Nelson is looking for a pen to sign with the Raiders, now Ian Rapoport is saying ‘not so fast’.

Seattle and New Orleans were to be the next two stops for Nelson should he leave Oakland without a deal. Nelson has been in Oakland since yesterday and the mere fact that we’re now hearing the other two interested teams are back in the mix usually suggests there are some snags in terms of the contract negotiations from Nelson’s side of the table.
