Y’all can breathe a sigh of relief. We will not be seeing Raiders 18-year kicker Sebastian Janikowski in Chargers gear. The 40-year-old first time free agent had visited the Chargers this week, but they have opted instead to sign Caleb Sturgis, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Janikowski has made it clear he would like to continue his career. The question is if a team will interested in adding him. Being one of only a few lefties complicates things for ‘Seabass’. Should he not find a team in the offseason, he would likely not be signed as a replacement for right-footed kicker which most NFL kickers are.
For now, the search continues for The Polish Cannon.
