There are a lot of broken hearted Raiders fans out there right now who were clinging to hopes that Ndamukong Suh would visit Oakland today and be convinced to sign with the Raiders and become the dominant inside presence the Raiders defensive line has been lacking.
That visit never happened. Suh heard everything he needed to hear from his stops around the league, and didn’t hear anything he wanted to hear from the Raiders in terms of financials, so he and his agent took Bruce Irvin’s advice and opted not to tease the Raiders with a visit knowing he wasn’t going to accept their terms.
Fret not. We are here to help.
Should Suh end up signing on with the Rams, the Raiders will face him next season. But they already faced him last season and he wasn’t much of a force in the Raiders’ 27-24 win over the Dolphins in Miami.
One particular drive, saw Marshawn Lynch rip off sizable runs. The first one Marshawn broke through an arm tackle attempt by Suh to go for 14 yards for a first down at midfield.
Just for the Hell of it let’s watch Marshawn Lynch last season run through an arm tackle attempt by Ndamukong Suh. Because why not. #Raiders pic.twitter.com/jXW71h8zVa

The other came later in the same drive. Marshawn got a nice lane thanks to a perfectly blocked play by Gabe Jackson that sent Suh diving onto his face in the backfield and Beast Mode did the rest, going 22 yards for the score and a 22-9 third quarter lead.
Then to finish off that drive with a Marshawn Lynch 22-yard TD due to Suh getting the “Ole!” And face plant Treatment from Gabe Jackson. #Raiders pic.twitter.com/xvYAJP4vbx

I don’t think there’s any question Suh would have been the answer for the Raiders defensive line deficiencies. But since that doesn’t appear to be happening, I hope this makes you feel a little better.
