Add another former Paul Guenther player to the list of new Raiders. Leon Hall, who was a first round draft pick by the Bengals in 2007 and spent the first 9 years of his career there has signed with the Raiders. His final two years, Guenther was his defensive coordinator.
The 33-year-old cornerback has spent the past two seasons with the Giants and 49ers. The Vista California native gets to stay in California, moving across the Bay to play with the Raiders and Guenther gets another veteran player who is familiar with his system.
Hall has played in 142 games in his 11-year NFL career with 108 starts, totaling 563 tackles (415 solo), 27 interceptions, 115 passes defended.
The 5-11, 195-pound corner signed with the 49ers midway through last season and in 9 appearances he started just one game with no interceptions, one pass defended, and 16 combined tackles.
Other former Guenther players on the roster now are Reggie Nelson and Emmanuel Lamur. Hall was drafted three spots ahead of Nelson in that 2007 draft.
