Another All Pro and Pro Bowl cornerback is leaving the AFC West and heading for LALA Land. Last month the Rams acquired former Chiefs CB Marcus Peters in trade and now the Rams are dealing again, trading for Broncos CB Aqib Talib. This according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and James Palmer.
The #Rams and #Broncos have finalized a deal to send CB Aqib Talib to Los Angeles, sources tell me and @JamesPalmerTV.

The compensation is reportedly a 5th round pick. The Chiefs got 2018 fourth round pick and a 2019 2nd round pick in the Peters trade.
Sending two of the league’s best cornerbacks out of the division is certainly great news for Derek Carr and the Raiders. Though the Raiders will still face both of them as they will host the Rams next season.
As it happens, both had incidents in Oakland last season. Peters with his cheap shot on Derek Carr that caused the Raiders Oline to come after him and Marshawn Lynch to be ejected and suspended for contact with an official. And Talib who twice snatched Michael Crabtree’s gold chain causing both he and Crabtree to be ejected and suspended.
