Silver & Black Pride community mock draft: First tackle comes off the board, who do the Ravens take at 16?

It’s not often you have a draft in which the first offensive tackle is taken halfway through the first round, but that’s what just happened in our Silver & Black Pride community mock. And it’s not unreasonable to think that’s how it will play out on draft day.

That tackle in Notre Dame’s Mike McGlinchey, considered to be the top tackle in a class without any tackle talent worthy of a top ten pick. Or at least no team desperate enough to reach for it.

McGlinchey was chosen for the Cardinals with 38% of the vote. Guess who got the season most votes? Yup, Roquan Smith (29%). Though with today’s news that 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster is facing some serious felony charges, Smith may end up going a bit high after all.

Next up is the Ravens at 16 overall.

A reminder, the way this will work is we will ask the Silver & Black Pride community (you) which prospect you think each team will pick, starting with the Browns at number one overall thru the Raiders pick at 10 overall and beyond.

Sorry, we can’t do trades because that would just get too complicated. So, if you think there will be a trade up at that spot, just pick the player you think will go there.

Each pick will go into place, taking them off the board for the rest of the mock vote. There are 13 choices in the poll in order to try and ensure some possibilities aren’t missed.
