Once the schedule is released tomorrow, you may notice some start times are a bit different than you’re used to seeing. That’s because the NFL has decided to start their primetime games a few minutes early. That goes for their Thursday, Sunday, and Monday night games, according to Ben Volin of the Boston Globe.

The new start times will be as follows (all times are Pacific):

Monday Night: 5:15 kickoff (up from 5:30)

Sunday Night: 5:20 kickoff (from 5:30)

Thursday Night: 5:20 kickoff (from 5:25)

Kaboom, right? I mean, these players’ bodily clocks are going to all out of whack having to start five minutes earlier on Thursday night. But that’s nothing compared to the ten minutes on Sunday. And don’t even get me started about the whole 15 minutes on Monday night.

To be fair, they can’t really move it up any more than that and still allow anyone who works 9-5 to get in front of their television in time to catch kick off.
