Oddsmakers set betting line for Raiders 2018 win total

The first betting lines for the each NFL team’s win total for 2018. Those early projections have the Raiders with an over/under of 8.5 wins. That’s second best in the AFC West. Here’s how the division stacks up by win total lines:

The highest win total line is 10.5 with five teams with that line — the Packers, Vikings, Patriots, Eagles, and Steelers. With five teams with a 9.5 win total, that ties the Raiders with six other teams for the 11th best line in the league.

Should the Raiders get the over with at least nine wins, it would be a three-game jump from last season in which they finished 6-10. The new coaching staff is the primary reason the oddsmakers have for the improvement. They also have the league’s third easiest strength of schedule.

Sitting at dead last is, of course, the Browns at 4.5. They went winless last season and have won just one game the past two years.
