Silver & Black Pride community mock draft: Who do the 49ers take just ahead of the Raiders pick?

The votes are getting more spread out now. With just 25% of the vote, the Silver & Black Pride community sends Virginia Tech LB Tremaine Edmunds to the Bears. Others receiving strong consideration were CB Denzel Ward (19%) and WR Calvin Ridley (18%).

Just one more pick before the Raiders are on the clock. It is, of course, the 49ers who won the coin toss between the two teams to win the right to pick first. Who do you suppose they’ll grab? Will it be someone the Raiders wanted?

A reminder, the way this will work is we will ask the Silver & Black Pride community (you) which prospect you think each team will pick, starting with the Browns at number one overall thru the Raiders pick at 10 overall and beyond.

Sorry, we can’t do trades because that would just get too complicated. So, if you think there will be a trade up at that spot, just pick the player you think will go there.

Each pick will go into place, taking them off the board for the rest of the mock vote. This time I have added several new prospects to bring the choices in the poll to 12 in order to try and ensure some possibilities aren’t missed.

Eight prospects off the board now:

  1. Cleveland Browns — Sam Darnold, QB, USC
  2. New York GiantsSaquon Barkley, RB, Penn State
  3. New York JetsJosh Rosen, QB, UCLA
  4. Cleveland Browns — Bradley Chubb, DE, NC State
  5. Denver BroncosJosh Allen, QB, Wyoming
  6. Indianapolis ColtsQuenton Nelson, OG, Notre Dame
  7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers — Minkah Fitzpatrick, S, Alabama
  8. Chicago Bears — Tremaine Edmunds, LB, Virginia Tech
  9. San Francisco 49ers —
