Happy Reggie Friday everyone. That Raiders have made another free agent move, adding cornerback Senquez Golson, who was a second round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers just three years ago.

Golson was the 56th overall pick in the 2015 draft by the Steelers, though he never played a game for them. Or any team for that matter. Shoulder and foot injuries sent him to injured reserve for both of his seasons in Pittsburgh.

The 24-year-old cornerback spent some time last season on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squad.

The 5-foot-9, 176-pound cornerback played four years at Mississippi (2011-14), appearing in 49 games and making 33 starts, totaling 136 tackles and 16 interceptions. His 16 interceptions were tied for third-most in school history upon his departure, and he earned unanimous first-team All-American honors as a senior in 2014.

He’s trying to get past his injury troubles as a former highly touted prospect and get his professional career back on track.
