There might be more left in the tank for Jon Condo after all. The Former Raiders long snapper is being brought in for a tryout with the Houston Texans this week, according to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.

This is the first news we have heard around him since he was informed he wouldn’t be re-signed in Oakland back in March. The Texans current long snapper is 32-year-old Jon Weeks who has been with the team since 2010, making the Pro Bowl in 2015.

Jon Condo (36) was the Raiders long snapper for quite a long time, he held the position down for the Silver and Black from 2006-2017. For his first six years in Oakland, Condo was the long snapper for current Texans punter Shane Lechler and kicker Sebastian Janikowski.

If the Texans like what they see they would be reuniting Condo and Lechler for the first time since Lechler was released from the Raiders back in 2013. They have already worked together for 6 years in Oakland, another year together in Houston makes a lot of sense.
