Third round pick OT Brandon Parker signed, just one Raiders draft pick remains to be signed

Monday the Raiders are taking care of business ahead of the start of OTA’s. They signed two drafted rookies today, starting with fourth round cornerback Nick Nelson, and now have gotten Brandon Parker under contract as well.

Parker and Nelson both sign 4-year deals worth an estimated $3.52 million and $3.16 million respectively, according to Overthecap.com. Their cap hits of $745K and $655K are negligible against the 2018 cap considering two players making $630K will drop out of the top 51.

Parker was selected 65th overall at the top of the third round. He played four seasons at North Carolina AT&T, starting all 48 games of his career at left tackle. He was a three-time FCS All-American at left tackle (2015-17) and was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Offensive Lineman of the Year for three straight years from 2015-17.

That leaves the other third round pick, Arden Key, as the only remaining drafted rookie still unsigned.
